The 2020 Chiefs schedule was released in May, with Kansas City hosting the Houston Texans in the first game of the 2020 football season at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th inside Arrowhead Stadium.
UPDATE: Due to concerns over COVID-19, the Chiefs announced on August 16 that Arrowhead Stadium would operate at a reduced capacity of 22% to open the season. | CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
The Chiefs will then travel in the next two weeks, playing the Chargers in Los Angeles in Week 2 before a Monday night matchup with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. Kansas City returns home in Week 4 to host the New England Patriots on October 4th.
In all, the Chiefs have five prime time games, including two at home. Kansas City will host the Denver Broncos for Sunday Night Football in Week 13 to go along with their prime time matchup with Houston in Week 1. Their other prime time games include road games against Baltimore (Week 3), Buffalo (Week 6), and Las Vegas (Week 11).
