The 2021 Chiefs schedule should be one of the best in years, especially at Arrowhead Stadium. With the likes of the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers all set to visit Arrowhead, the Chiefs home schedule is full of great matchups.

Six of Kansas City’s opponents in 2021 are playoff teams from a season ago. Washington, Tennessee, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo all made the playoffs last season, with Kansas City knocking out Buffalo in the AFC Championship game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of back-to-back appearances in the Super Bowl, as well as three straight appearances in the AFC Championship game. Led by Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will look to get back into the big game for a third consecutive season and bring home their second Lombardi trophy in three years.

Having nine home games will help the Chiefs in their pursuit, especially if fans will be back at full capacity. Commissioner Roger Goodell announced on March 30th that the league expects to have full stadiums during the 2021 season.

Kansas City was one of only a handful of teams to allow fans in 2020, operating at a 22% capacity for each home game. With the Chiefs set for a 17-game schedule in 2021, capacity crowds are Arrowhead will go a long way as KC aims to stay atop the AFC.
